Bob Floro, MS, RRT
Bob has over fifty years of experience in health care. He has a strong background in respiratory care and the durable medical equipment industry, including previous durable medical equipment (DME) ownership and leadership positions. Most recently, Bob served as the Director of the Home Care Accreditation Program at The Joint Commission, and after serving that organization for 12 years, he moved into entrepreneurial roles as owner of HME Professional, a health care consulting firm, and as Managing Partner for Sleepedu.org, an internet-based CEU provider for Respiratory therapists and sleep technologists.
He has owned and managed medical equipment businesses, taught at the university level and held board and membership positions in AARC, ALA of KY, AHA, ISRC, KSRC, KMESA, and IAMES.
Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Eastern Kentucky University, a Master of Science in Leadership from the Ken Blanchard College of Business and is a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
In addition to his health care experience, Bob is a Licensed Funeral Director and Licensed Crematory Operator in the state of Kentucky. He enjoys time with his family, is active in church, and is an avid fisherman. He can be found fishing bass tournaments at least 25 weekends out of the year.
